Commercial / Commercial Property SolicitorA fast-growing and friendly practice in Datchet, Berkshire, is seeking an experienced Commercial Solicitor with at least 1 year's PQE to join its dynamic team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a motivated solicitor looking for a varied and interesting mix of commercial and commercial property work in a client-facing role.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a range of commercial property matters, including buying and selling commercial property, drafting and reviewing commercial leases, and handling property transactions.
  • Advise on commercial contracts, including reviewing and drafting terms and conditions, asset purchase agreements, share purchase agreements, and shareholders and partnership agreements.
  • Handle Companies House formalities and provide guidance on the Companies Act.
  • Review and draft legal documents and agreements with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide clear, practical, and effective advice to clients, ensuring excellent client service.
  • Work autonomously, managing a diverse caseload efficiently and meeting deadlines.

Key Requirements:

  • A qualified solicitor with at least 1 year's PQE in commercial law, with a focus on commercial property.
  • Proven experience in buying and selling commercial property, commercial leases, and drafting and reviewing commercial agreements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of the Companies Act and experience with Companies House formalities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-focused, professional approach.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, manage a caseload efficiently, and maintain attention to detail.
  • IT proficient with a good knowledge of MS Office and case management systems.
  • Commercial and financial awareness with a solid understanding of complex commercial matters.
  • Ideally based locally, with some client following preferred.
