This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor to take on a varied and high-quality caseload while playing a key role in the department's growth and development.The OpportunityThe successful candidate will manage a diverse range of commercial property matters, including:

  • Sales and acquisitions of commercial properties.
  • Landlord and tenant matters, including lease grants, assignments, and renewals.
  • Development agreements and property refinancing.
  • Portfolio management for commercial clients.
  • Navigating Land Registry processes and handling SDLT submissions.

This role also involves working closely with the firm's senior leadership, offering the chance to influence the strategic growth of the department.Key Responsibilities

  • Handling commercial property transactions from start to finish with minimal supervision.
  • Growing the department by expanding the client base and generating new business.
  • Preparing and managing sensitive documents under tight deadlines.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and providing exceptional service.

Key Requirements

  • 7+ years PQE in commercial property law with substantial experience in complex transactions.
  • Proven ability to meet fee-earning targets and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Strong technical expertise, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Land Registry, and SDLT systems.
  • Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive and ambitious approach with a drive to grow the department.
  • A client following is advantageous but not required.
  • A minimum 2:1 degree and/or Commendation in the LPC is preferred.
