A forward-thinking legal practice in the Thames Valley is seeking a dedicated Commercial Solicitor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Solicitor with at least 4 years PQE to handle a wide range of commercial work. The firm works with a diverse clientele including startups, entrepreneurs, charities, SMEs, privately owned businesses, and major multi-national corporations.
The Commercial Solicitor's Role
The successful Commercial Solicitor will join a vibrant team consisting of three partners, one senior associate, one consultant, and one solicitor, under the leadership of the highly experienced Peter James. The role involves drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, contract reviews, providing data protection advice, and offering transactional support to the Corporate team. The Commercial Solicitor will also be responsible for project management, developing strong inter-team relationships, contributing to knowledge management, and participating in business development activities.

The ideal Commercial Solicitor will possess:
- Significant experience in a commercial firm.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload independently.
- Experience in marketing, business development, and developing junior team members.
- A hands-on approach with proven ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a commercial approach.
- Flexibility to work from various offices as required.
- Regular use and understanding of time recording systems, billing, administration processes, compliance, and risk management.
