Private Client Partner - Legal 500 Law FirmLocation: Slough, BerkshireAn award-winning Legal 500 firm is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Private Client Partner to take over a busy and well-established department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm with an excellent reputation for high-quality work and significant growth potential.The Private Client team currently consists of two associates, and the firm is looking for an experienced leader to drive the department forward. The role:The successful candidate will manage an extensive and diverse caseload, including:

  • Wills and probate.
  • Complex tax and estate planning.
  • Court of Protection.
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Trusts.

In addition to fee-earning responsibilities, the role will require strong leadership skills to manage and grow the team, alongside marketing and business development expertise to generate new business and expand the client base.Key requirements:

  • 8+ years PQE as a Private Client solicitor with a strong track record in high-value, complex work.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and developing a department.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and build client relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to meet fee-earning targets.
  • Excellent communication, strategy, and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to support team members and other departments.
  • The ability to handle all Private Client matters independently and efficiently.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • A STEP qualification
  • A minimum 2:1 degree and/or a Commendation from the LPC.
  • Training and experience gained at a reputable and established law firm.
