Role: Maintenance Engineer
Shifts: 4 on 4 off, 5 on 5 off (Days and Nights)
Salary: £55,000 + Overtime

The Business:
Our client are a well established business that have been established for over 100 years and have grown significantly in the last few years. This factory is their flagship site in the UK and boasts some state of the art machinery and automation, seen as a market leader within their industry.
With a healthy growing order book and turnover, the business is now able to offer fantastic training opportunities for their Engineers, with OEMs regularly called to site for detailed training and good relationships with local colleges where Engineers are sent for Mechanical, Electrical and health and safety training.
The Role:
The role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:
- Working with a small team of Engineers, completing reactive, planned and continuous improvement tasks
- Working Electrically on Three Phase Motors, working in panels with sensors, relays, contactors, invertors, fuses, power supplies, breakers, switches
- Mechanically working with: Bearings, Gearboxes, Shafts, Rollers, Belts, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems
- Working as a Lead Engineer on shift, being the go to guy with any serious issues that occur and helping support more junior colleagues
The Candidate:
The right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will have the following experience/skills:
- A Recognised Engineering Qualification
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a factory environment, working on automated machinery
- Strong Electrical and Mechanical Fault Finding skills, looking at Root Cause Analysis
- Able to work well within a team and help support colleagues on shift
