MS520 - Boiler Engineer (Field Based) Location: Covering the following areas - London, Slough, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Reading, BasingstokeSalary: £45,000 basic per annum DOE + overtime Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Boiler Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintenance, installation and deinstallation of all temporary hire kit. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installation and commissioning of temporary heating and cooling systems ensuring they meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Servicing heating and cooling systems pre delivery to ensure their optimal performance and safety. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Working as part of the operations team you will be expected to communicate clearly with clients, strive to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including installation details, repairs, safety inspections, and customer interactions. Prepare reports as required.
  • Ensure all work adheres to relevant safety regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards to maintain the highest levels of safety.
  • Keep all tools and equipment in proper working order, promptly reporting any maintenance or replacement needs. This ensures a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Stay current with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices related to gas systems and appliances. Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills.
  • Proactively identify and address potential safety issues or hazards through inspections and maintenance to prevent emergencies and costly repairs.
  • Strive to complete tasks efficiently and cost-effectively, optimizing the value of services delivered to customers and the company.
  • Perform all work with a high degree of professionalism and ethical behavior, building trust with customers and maintaining the company's reputation.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and, when necessary, work as part of a team to complete larger projects or address complex issues.

Skills and Qualifications:Essential: 

  • COCN1.
  • CIGA1.
  • CDGA1.
  • ICPN1.
  • TPCP1/1A .
  • ICAE1.

Desirable: 

  • 18th Edition. 
  • Oftec Qualifications.
  • Fgas Qualifications.
  • Chiller Experience.
