Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Toolmaker for a permanent position in Middlesex with a salary range of £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate should have experience in the service and maintenance of Injection Mould tools, along with being either experienced or an apprentice time served.
Key responsibilities include repairing, modifying, and maintaining existing production tooling, as well as operating various machinery safely.
Candidates should be comfortable with EDM techniques, able to read technical engineering drawings, and have certification in abrasive wheels regulation.
Experience with injection moulded processes and tooling, as well as good communication skills, are essential for this role.

SALARY- £38,000 - £43,000 per annum DOE

We are looking for Toolmaker on a permanent basis in the Middlesex area with experience in service and maintenance of Injection Mould tools. The main duties will be to repair, modify and maintain existing production tooling.

The Toolmaker will ideally have the following attributes:

Experienced or apprentice time served
Comfortable with EDM techniques
Read Technical Engineering drawings
CNC shop experience beneficial
Abrasive wheels regulation certified
Able to verbally communicate effectively at all levels
Injection moulded processes and tooling experience
Excellent attention to detail

The Toolmaker role will involve:

Repairing, modifying & maintaining existing production tooling
Operate all tooling & equipment safely
Use of milling machines, lathes & grinders
Maintain high standard of cleanliness
Producing work with high quality surface finish
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Ensure correct labelling of tools
Good housekeeping to 5S standards
Log completed tool maintenance and repair to databases
