Dunbar Education are seeking a Nursery Deputy Manager at an OFSTED regulated nursery in Slough. As the Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for all children. You will lead a team of enthusiastic staff, work closely with parents, and ensure the highest standards of care and learning are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Nursery Manager
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Creating and implementing engaging educational programs
  • Building positive relationships with parents, children, and staff
  • Managing budgets, resources, and overall nursery operations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
  • Experience working in an OFSTED regulated school will be beneficial, but is not a requirement
  • Previous experience in early childhood education or childcare management
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and health & safety standards
  • Passion for providing quality care and education to young children
