You will work in beautifully refurbished offices designed by a professional interior designer, alongside a supportive and experienced team. Our client encourages growth, offering the opportunity to develop and progress within a dynamic and evolving company.

This role will see you supporting both client services and transport operations. It is a critical position, responsible for the coordination and profitability of European transport operations, serving a diverse range of clients, including private collectors, galleries, and auction houses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the export/import processes for road freight shipments across Europe.
  • Plan and coordinate efficient transport routes and schedules to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Oversee customer collections, packing services, and deliveries, ensuring a smooth operation from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with customs for clearance, manage customs entry exceptions, and handle EU airfreight and road courier shipments.
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients and suppliers, resolving any issues or complaints that arise.
  • Manage the logistics of shipping fine art and antiques, including quoting, coordinating international shipments, and preparing detailed documentation.
  • Support sales and operations teams by providing administrative assistance and participating in regular team meetings.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Has a strong knowledge of European geography
  • Eager and confident to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic work environment
