Our client are a leading Audio-Visual (AV) integrator specialising in providing cutting-edge technology solutions to a diverse range of clients across various sectors. The company prides itself on delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term relationships with their clients. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join their team as a Business Development Manager. Job Summary:

The Audio Visual Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of their Service department. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and helping to expand their market presence in London and the surrounding areas. This role requires a proactive, go-getter attitude, with a focus on opening doors and creating new opportunities for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and target new business opportunities within the AV industry, with a specific focus on the Service department. This includes researching potential clients, generating leads, and developing strategies to secure new business.

  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders. Regularly engage with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.

  • Sales Support: Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and sales materials. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of new accounts.

  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Use this information to inform business development strategies.

  • Client Meetings: Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients in London and occasionally in surrounding areas. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company and generate leads.

  • Driving: As some of the work will be on the outskirts of London, the ability to drive is essential. You will be expected to travel to client sites as required. All travel is fully expensed.

  • Training and Development: Participate in the company's comprehensive training programme designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role. You will also have access to ongoing professional development opportunities.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Proactive and Goal-Oriented: A self-starter with a strong desire to achieve and exceed targets.

  • Sales/Business Development experience: A previous track record with Business Development or Sales
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade stakeholders at all levels.

  • Organisation: Highly organised, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Willingness to Learn: A keen interest in the AV industry and a desire to learn and grow within the role.

  • Full UK Driving Licence: Essential for travelling to client sites and attending meetings.

Package:

  • Starting Salary ranging from 25,000 to 30,000 (depending on experience)
