Description
- Maintaining Sales Ledger: Accurately record and update all sales transactions in the ledger.
- Customer Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to customers, ensuring all details are correct.
- Payment Processing: Handle incoming payments, apply them to the correct accounts, and update records.
- Credit Control: Monitor outstanding debts, follow up on overdue payments, and assist in resolving payment issues.
- Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile the sales ledger with bank statements and other financial records.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales ledger status and outstanding debts.
- Communication: Liaise with customers and internal departments to address queries and ensure smooth transaction processing.

- Numerical Proficiency: Strong mathematical skills to handle financial data and perform calculations.

- Experience and Education: Relevant experience in accounting or finance, and often a qualification in a related field.
