Exciting Opportunity for a Qualified Art Teacher in Slough!

GSL Education are currently seeking a number of passionate and dedicated Art Teachers to join our client schools in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and nurture their creative talents in the fields of art.

 

As a Art Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality art lessons that align with the national curriculum.
  • Inspiring students to explore various art forms, techniques, and photography styles.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creative expression and experimentation.
  • Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the art curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Preparing students for exhibitions and showcasing their artistic talents.

 

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Art. (Please don't apply if you don't have QTS)
  • A strong understanding of the art and photography curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Passion for art and the ability to inspire and engage students in meaningful creative projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Strong classroom management skills, creating an environment conducive to artistic exploration.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and staying updated with advancements in art and photography education.
