About the RoleAs a PE Teacher, you will design and deliver an inspiring physical education programme that caters to students of all abilities, encouraging active participation and the development of a wide range of skills. Your role is vital in fostering teamwork, resilience, and a strong sense of sportsmanship.
Key Responsibilities-
Comprehensive Curriculum Delivery: Develop and implement a well-rounded PE curriculum aligned with school goals and national standards.

Engaging Lessons: Plan and lead dynamic, inclusive lessons that inspire all students to participate and enjoy physical activity.

Skill Development: Teach a variety of sports and physical activities, focusing on building skills, coordination, and fitness levels.

Healthy Lifestyle Advocacy: Promote the importance of physical health, well-being, and mental resilience.

Extracurricular Activities: Organise and oversee sports clubs, teams, and events, fostering school spirit and community engagement.

Student Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their physical education goals.

Safe Learning Environment: Ensure the safety and proper maintenance of all sports equipment and facilities.

Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to integrate physical education into the wider school curriculum.

A degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.

Proven experience teaching PE, ideally at the primary or secondary level.

Strong knowledge of physical education principles, sports, and fitness practices.

First Aid certification and knowledge of safeguarding procedures (desirable).
