Quantum Scholars are currently working alongside a vibrant secondary school who are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher. This is a full time, permanent position on a long-term basis starting after February Half Term.

The ideal candidate must be currently teaching in the UK, have a significant amount of UK teaching experience and be able to teach General Science(Physics, Chemistry and Biology) to secondary school level(11-16 years old).

The school is located in Slough, Berkshire. It is situated in a very desirable area with great access to local public transport routes. They have created a very welcoming and happy community between their staff and pupils. They are a mixed comprehensive secondary school with high expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Plan, assess, and monitor student progress to ensure high standards of learning.
  • Inspire a passion for science and foster curiosity in students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Degree in Science or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching secondary school science.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Must have a right to work in the UK.
  • Must be available after February half term!
