Field Service Engineer

My client, a leading UK manufacturer of standard and bespoke Microbiological Safety Cabinets, laminar flow products, and associated clean air equipment, is looking for a talented Field Service Engineer to join their team. This full-time position will cover South-Eastern England, with nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide service, maintenance, repair, and commissioning services in hospitals, universities, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and research facilities.
• Field-based role primarily across South-Eastern England, with some nationwide cover.
• Weekend and overseas travel may be required, including occasional travel to the head office in Manchester.
• Work primarily scheduled during normal working hours, Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Proven experience in a site/field engineer role.
• Mechanical proficiency.
• Full UK driving license.
• Passport.
• Problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken English.
• Proficient computer skills, including email, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
• Successful completion of BPSS background check (expense covered by us).

Desirable:

• Testing to BS EN 12469, ISO 14644, BS EN 14175 standards.
• Installation & Operational Qualification (IQOQ).
• Factory acceptance testing (FAT).
• KI testing.
• DOP testing.
• P601 LEV training.

• Salary £30,000-£40,000 DOE
