Field Service Engineer
My client, a leading UK manufacturer of standard and bespoke Microbiological Safety Cabinets, laminar flow products, and associated clean air equipment, is looking for a talented Field Service Engineer to join their team. This full-time position will cover South-Eastern England, with nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide service, maintenance, repair, and commissioning services in hospitals, universities, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and research facilities.
- Field-based role primarily across South-Eastern England, with some nationwide cover.
- Weekend and overseas travel may be required, including occasional travel to the head office in Manchester.
- Work primarily scheduled during normal working hours, Monday to Friday.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Proven experience in a site/field engineer role.
- Mechanical proficiency.
- Full UK driving license.
- Passport.
- Problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken English.
- Proficient computer skills, including email, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
- Successful completion of BPSS background check (expense covered by us).
Desirable:
- Testing to BS EN 12469, ISO 14644, BS EN 14175 standards.
- Installation & Operational Qualification (IQOQ).
- Factory acceptance testing (FAT).
- KI testing.
- DOP testing.
- P601 LEV training.

- Salary £30,000-£40,000 DOE
