Tezlom are currently recruiting for an Outreach Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) support victims of domestic and sexual violence to work and keep victims and their families safe

Position:Outreach IDVA -Independent Domestic Violence Advocate

Location: Slough

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Hours: Full time hrs, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Pay Rates: £13.50

Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support, information, and practical advocacy
  • Help the client understand their options and make informed decisions
  • Advocate on behalf of client to address their needs
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case management records
  • Attend Child Protection and MARAC meetings
  • Facilitate safeguarding referrals
  • Keep other agencies informed about important changes in a client's situation
