Scheme Manager - Young People, Slough - ShiftsA housing association has a fantastic opportunity for a Scheme Manager who is passionate about helping young people thrive. The team is dedicated to providing support and empowering young people between the ages of 18 - 24. This organisation provides the principles of psychologically informed environments (PIE). The create safe spaces, that foster growth, resilience and positive change, whilst adhering to Ofsted regulations. This a 24-hour service so you must be able to work shifts as part of a rota system which will include weekend and bank holiday working.About the roleYou will be empowering vulnerable young people to lead independent and fulfilling lives with the support of a network of staff, social workers and other professionals.You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of a service or group of services. You will lead local teams of front-line staff to deliver good quality service, promoting high standards of practice conducive to meeting the needs of the people we support. Enabling them to access education, employment, training opportunities, volunteering as well as healthcare services in order to manage their emotional and physical wellbeing.You must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car for work.Please note that a condition of your employment is that you commit to starting the
