Windsor Forest College Group is looking for a Learning Support Assistanttojoin the Langley team on a sessional basis.

Job Title

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with additional support needs to join our Adult Learning For Independence and Employment (ALFIE) department at our Langley College campus. You will be supporting our ALFIE students in a Sport and Fitness class.

This role is to cover Tuesday mornings 09:00 – 12:15 only. As such to be considered for this role you must include a confirmation of your availability for this commitment in your application. You may be offered other hours in addition to these specific hours, but this is the minimum requirement for this role.

As an LSA, you will play a crucial role in providing educational and mentoring support to students with learning difficulties and disabilities. Working closely with the ALFIE Head of Department, specialist tutors, and vocational lecturing staff, you will contribute to creating an outstanding learning experience for these students.

In this role, you will provide support both inside and outside the classroom, assisting with administrative tasks, offering personal care and hygiene support, and facilitating the use of specialist equipment and resources.

We are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to the academic and personal development of students with additional needs.
