Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff members to support children with special educational needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Develop and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of SEN students.
  • Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable.
