A dedicated Special Needs School in Slough is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a full-time basis. This school works with students facing a range of challenges, including Autism, ADHD, and complex learning needs, creating an inclusive, positive environment tailored to each student's success.

Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher, providing one-on-one support to students.
  • Assist in delivering engaging lessons to make learning enjoyable and accessible for all.
  • Support classroom behavior management and help students make positive choices.
  • Play an active role in fostering a supportive, inclusive environment focused on emotional and academic growth.

Ideal candidates will have experience working with children or vulnerable adults, either professionally or personally (such as supporting a family member with additional needs). A degree in Psychology or Criminology is helpful but not essential-genuine enthusiasm and a nurturing attitude are key.
