A specialist school in Slough is looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join their team. The school caters to children aged 5 to 18 with diverse social, emotional, and mental health needs, offering tailored support and the opportunity to work alongside experienced SEN practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
  • Working with students with varied needs, including Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, behavioural challenges, sensory processing difficulties, physical disabilities, and communication barriers.
  • Assisting students in developing emotional regulation and social skills.
  • Demonstrating enthusiasm for working with children and an interest in the SEN field.
  • Bringing a positive attitude, adaptability, and calmness to every situation.
