Your new school is a special educational needs school for children with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Complex Needs including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) and Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD). This school is very well resourced and boasts an onsite farm/animal sanctuary that is used to engage pupils and offer a therapeutic and comprehensive approach to teaching.

As the new SEN Teacher, you will be working in a well-resourced, purpose-built school that has recently been accredited as a 'Complex Needs School', which would recognise the increasing complexity of needs the children they cater for. You will be supported by a progressive and experienced senior leadership team as well as having 3 TA's supporting you and your pupils in your new classroom.

Given this is a full-time, long-term teaching role, SENDhelp are seeking to appoint an energetic and highly motivated qualified SEN Teacher who holds QTS, and we are open to speaking to all SEN Teachers who have taught SEN pupils with the same/ or similar needs as mentioned above.

With your background in SEN, you will be fully committed to ensuring all children have an equal opportunity to access a creative and fulfilling curriculum; you will bring with you an energetic, strong, and resilient approach to engaging children with additional needs, so that you can drive your new class to develop, grow and achieve.

What benefits are available to the new SEN teacher?

  • You will have access to over 400 online courses free of charge, designed to increase competency in the relevant field
