Speech and Language Therapist - Dysphasia

If you are a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist with an interest in working with dysphasia patients, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the inpatient team in a hospital in Slough.

The post holder will provide a speech and language therapy service to adults with dysphasia.

You will need to have at leadt 1 year experience port qualification, dysphasia competencies and a HCPC registration.

The Vacancy is M-F, Full Time

Salary: 28.50/h

What you'll need as a Speech and Language Therapist - Dysphasia :

  • Specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications and experience with dysphasia patients
  • Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
  • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
  • HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
  • 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
  • Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
  • The right to work in the UK
