Location: Head Office, Slough

Reporting to: Head of HR and L&D

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Training Manager to lead our Learning & Development (L&D) function, ensuring staff and management are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and capabilities to meet business needs and regulatory requirements within health and social care. You will be responsible for managing a small Training Team, overseeing high-quality training delivery, assessing competency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Features of the role:

Oversee the scheduling and delivery of training for all staff.

Manage and develop the training team, ensuring high-quality, engaging courses.

Identify training needs and develop relevant training materials.

Improve training processes, course content, and documentation for efficiency.

Manage team performance, including recruitment, onboarding, and coaching.

Design and deliver management training covering technical and soft skills.

Deliver accredited training through our Training Academy, ensuring compliance with awarding body standards.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years' experience delivering training, including management training.

At least 2 years’ experience developing functional, management, and soft skills training.

Previous experience managing and coaching a training team.

Background in health and social care; qualified to at least Level 5.

Relevant training qualification (AET, PTTLS) and assessor qualification (CAVA), with IQA preferred.

Degree in a related subject (preferred).

Skills & Attributes:

Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Data-driven with a results-focused approach.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to influence and communicate at all levels.

Self-motivated with excellent leadership and organisational skills.

Confident in managing external stakeholders.
