An excellent opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Business Developemnt Executive to join a successful and growing Logistics company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales through effective communication and relationship-building with clients. English and Spanish speakers will be highly regarded.

You MUST have a driving licence and access to your own car.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telemarketing activities to generate new leads and follow up on existing prospects.
  • Cold calling new business leads in order to book meetings and win business.
  • Attend new business development meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalised service.
  • Utilise the CRM system to manage customer interactions, track sales progress, and report on performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing market share and achieving sales targets.
  • Provide product knowledge and support to clients, ensuring they are informed about the features and benefits of our offerings.
  • Attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights, discuss challenges, and celebrate successes.
  • Ad-hoc customer service and administration when there is an overflow.


Skills/Experience required:

  • Knowledge general haulage, pallet distribution and same day couriers and storage preferred but not essential
  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  • Previous experience in booking meetings with potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
