Due to the nature of this role, previous experience is essential.

Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday Set Afternoon Shift
- Monday to Thursday 14:00 till 23:00 & Friday 14:00 till 17:30
Rate of Pay:
- £16.61-£17.59 per hour (Including Shift Allowance)
- Fantastic Overtime rates
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a variety of machines, including lasers, coil feeds, levellers, and roll-forming equipment
- Adjust machine settings and tolerances to meet production specifications
- Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent quality
- Conduct inspections of raw materials and finished products to verify compliance with required standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or process-related issues quickly to minimize downtime
- Accurately complete production documentation, labels, and quality records
- Adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs), including 5S and TPM practices
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure proper care and storage of tools and equipment
- Use overhead cranes and lifting devices safely for material handling
- Assist in training and mentoring new or existing team members and provide support to Team Leaders when required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a machine setting and/or operating role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical understanding and ability to interpret technical drawings and production specifications
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of workplace safety and best practices in machine operation
