**Technical Assistant required for a Food Manufacturing business in West Bromwich**

We are proud to be working with a long-standing food manufacturing business in West Bromwich to help them recruit a Technical Assistant on a permanent basis.

This is working a day shift Monday to Friday, (40 hours per week), and the role comes with an attractive salary up to £38,000 per annum.

As a Technical Assistant you will be supporting the Technical team to ensure compliance throughout the site is adhered to, and ensure the HACCP documentation is correctly completed and filed.

**What You Will Do:**

  • Ensure completion and filing of HACCP documentation, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
  • Take charge of customer complaint handling, delving into investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Play a key role in Internal Auditing, contributing to continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Manage laundry and consumable resources efficiently, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Assist in leading the Quality team, fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance.
  • Actively participate as a member of the HACCP team, contributing to food safety and quality assurance initiatives.

**What You Will Bring:**

  • A solid understanding of BRC audit procedures, with a preference for those experienced in the field.
  • A minimum qualification of HACCP level 3 or equivalent, showcasing your commitment to food safety.
  • Proven team management experience, demonstrating your ability to lead and inspire.
  • Experience in Internal Auditing, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, ready to tackle challenges and contribute to the team's success.
