Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Housing Association in the West Midlands to recruit a Finance Assistant to their busy team. The role is offered on an initial interim contract for 4 - 8 weeks to assist clearing a backlog in the Rents team, the role offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Duties:

  • Responsible for processing bank reconciliations for rent accounts
  • Maintaining the cash book and processing Rents
  • Raising and recording sales invoices and transactions
  • Maintaining the accounts receivable ledger and ensuring debtor details are correct

Experience:

  • Able to use Excel and able to learn new systems
  • Rents/Social Housing experience
  • Previous experience working in a financial services/transactional position
