Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in welding processes and the ability to work with Steel in a foundry setting. As a Foundry Welder, you will be responsible for repairing and upgrading the standard of casting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding tasks on metal components in accordance with technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Use a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, arc, to upgrade steel castings
  • Inspect and test welded surfaces for defects or weaknesses and make necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with other foundry team members to ensure quality control throughout the casting and welding process.
  • Follow safety protocols, including wearing protective gear such as gloves, masks, and goggles.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a foundry or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, safety standards, and metal properties.
  • Experience with welding equipment and tools, including MIG, TIG, and arc welders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
