Job Title: Customer Service PartnerLocation: Snodland, Kent (Hybrid working after 3 months)Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum DOEHours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm (with 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
- Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm (after 3 months, every 4th Friday will be 8:00am - 4:00pm)
6 month contract starting in January 2025 (this position has the potential to go permanent)
Position Summary
Join a dynamic and dedicated Customer Service team as a Customer Service Partner, where you will be the first point of contact for customer queries and concerns. Working closely with external sales teams and other internal departments, you’ll ensure seamless order processing and provide an exceptional customer experience.
This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home after an initial three-month office-based training period. You’ll be a key player in upholding our clients company values of efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Process orders and quotes accurately through an ERP system
- Verify order acknowledgements before dispatching to customers
- Act as the primary contact for assigned customers and external teams
- Administer and manage large project orders
- Clarify order details with customers to ensure "right first time" processing
- Handle customer complaints, returns, and non-conformance reports
- Maintain communication with Production and Despatch teams regarding order status and delays
- Provide backup support to colleagues to maintain exceptional service standards
- Update and manage team documentation using OneNote
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- GCSE/A Level or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience:
- Proven success in a fast-paced customer service role
- Hands-on experience in order and quotation processing
- Previous collaboration with external sales teams
- (Desirable) Background in manufacturing or the construction industry

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Professional, friendly, and flexible approach to tasks
- Excellent communication skills, with a confident telephone manner
