We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Global Christian Charity organization.
The candidate must be a qualified Accountant with a minimum of experience in accounting systems and procedures.
The role offers a salary ranging from £30,000 to £40,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities include managing accounting transactions, preparing budget forecasts, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
The position requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to work full-time in the UK.

We are looking for an Accountant to join our wonderful Global Christian Charity /Organisation. Your main responsibility is to manage all aspects of accounting, budgets and financial reporting. We are looking for someone who is a qualified Accountant and has experience using accounting systems and procedures and who has great leadership and management experience.

Working in the Charitable sector advantageous

Responsibilities

Manage all accounting transactions
Prepare budget forecasts
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Comply with financial policies and regulations
Attend staff and team meetings
Keep confidential affairs of employees

Qualifications / Skillset

Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW
Finance experience
Hands on experience with accounting software
Leadership skills
Must live in the UK/ able to fulfil full time office based hours
Managing own time and team
Budgetary experience
Leading the team in prayer and spiritual activities as required
Excellent written/ financial / numerical and communication skills
