Trinity House Group are currently seeking a talented and proactive Management Accountant to join our growing, high-performing Private Equity (PE) backed business based in the Solihull area. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where your financial expertise will support key operational and strategic decisions.

As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in producing accurate and timely financial information, including monthly management accounts, forecasts, and financial analysis. You will work closely with various business functions, ensuring financial performance is well understood and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, highlighting key variances, trends, and providing actionable insights.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and manage cash flow forecasts.
  • Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insight and support in budgeting and cost control.
  • Assist in preparing reports for senior management, ensuring key financial data is clearly communicated.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline financial reporting and operational efficiency.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports for investors and stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification (or working towards).
  • Experience in management accounting or financial reporting, ideally within a fast-paced or PE-backed environment.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with financial systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-moving business.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
