Business Support Lead

Your new companyDue to the partnership between Hays and a Local Authority in the West Midlands area, we are looking to recruit a Business Support Lead to join the team.Your new roleAs a Business Support Officer, you will be supporting the team by conducting note/minute taking during important meetings and ensuring they are distributed to the relevant recipients post meeting. Furthermore, you will be responsible for leading a team in their day-to-day duties and ensuring that work is being completed to a high standard to meet organisational goals and objectives. You will be responsible for supporting the collection of data, to form reports, and presentations that will be vital for the service. Moreover, you will ensure all in-house systems are maintained, updated and monitored correctly.What you'll need to succeedYou will need experience of working in a busy administrative environment where you can prioritise your workload as well as lead and support a team. You will need to have experience of working towards multiple tight details and achieving goals. Due to the service area, you will need to demonstrate adaptability, and be able to respond quickly to any changes. In addition, this role will be an ASAP start,. Before starting, you will need to pass your reference and compliance checks. On registration please have your 2 most recent employment details available for reference checks. What you'll get in returnThis is a full-time, temporary job with a hybrid working arrangement. This is a three-month contract but may be open to extension.
