Senior Quality Engineer - Vehicle Refinement - 33.25/hr (Inside IR35) - Solihull / Gaydon / Nitra (Slovakia) - 12 Months (potential for yearly renewal)

Position Description:
Your primary role will involve addressing and resolving attribute concerns related to squeak & rattle and water leaks. You will lead the problem definition process and establish root causes through close collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, and suppliers. A hands-on approach is essential during investigations, including the ability to interrogate drawings, models, and take measurements from production.

Skills Required:
- Automotive/Engineering degree and prior automotive experience within a quality delivery arena
- Ability to Plan work/Events and organise detailed activity to deliver the outcomes
- Demonstrable problem-solving experience e.g. Root Cause Analysis, 8 Disciplines of problem solving

Experience Required:
- Automotive/Engineering degree and prior automotive experience within a quality delivery arena
- Demonstrate potential to strategise work streams based on the Business Plan
- Good experience of quality tools (8D, Fish bone, FTA, PDCA, 5Y)
- Ability to analyse large data that translates into next actions / us of MS Office applications
- Ability to plan work in 2 weeks sprints, organise work based on priority and deliver against plan
- Being resourceful with Hands on complex problem-solving capability
- Ability to Plan work/Events and organise detailed activity to deliver the outcomes
- Ability to lead large project/ resolve complex issues through leading cross functional teams
- Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Demonstrable problem-solving experience - Root Cause Analysis, 8 Disciplines of problem solving
- Knowledge and understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
- Ability to deliver presentations to work groups and senior management
- A full UK driving licence

Experience Preferred:
- Previous experience of New Model Launch or Vehicle Manufacturing operations
- Technical knowledge of vehicle engineering related to Squeaks & Rattle or Water Ingress
- Active experience of working to Agile methodologies (JIRA)
- Experience of working with the following company toolsets; Tableau, AIMs, IQM, Flags, IDS, TGW
- A working knowledge of Trim & Final, BIW, sealing systems
- A working experience of CAD or Digi-buck.
- Knowledge of material compatibility and joining technologies.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety/ risk assessments

Additional Information:
This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35
Locations: Location: Solihull / Gaydon / Nitra (Slovakia)
Hybrid: Possible 1 day per week
