Your next role could be within the finance team of a firmly established, highly regarded professional services company. Our accomplished, nationally-operating Solihull-based client require a candidate who is determined, ambitious and can establish themselves well within an Accounts Payable clerk role.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you'll be working closely with like-minded individuals in a friendly environment where your skills and experience you've gained will be utilised and well-received. Previous experience will be required in order to successfully perform a range of responsibilities including handling queries, managing invoices, maintaining and organising records, setting up new accounts, liaising closely with suppliers, preparing payment runs and contributing to month-end duties.

What you'll need:

  • Versatility, adaptability and great collaboration skills will be necessary to handle the array of tasks whilst supporting and members of the team where needed
  • Whilst immediate availability and previous experience in a similar role is required, experience in the professional services sector would be beneficial, not essential
  • Very strong communication skills are needed to liaise closely and maintain positive relationships with a range of suppliers
  • Proficiency using accounting software and IT systems, such as Excel
