- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritise business requirements using proven methodologies.
- Support the development and establishment of the architecture function, working closely with the Head of Architecture.
- Leverage business analysis frameworks such as MoSCoW and INVEST to prioritise and refine requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment of solutions with strategic objectives.
- Contribute to data-driven projects by conducting thorough analysis, identifying key insights, and supporting decision-making processes.
- Play a pivotal role in delivering a multi-million-pound transformation programme, ensuring business needs are effectively translated into technical solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and engage in stakeholder communication to drive alignment and clarity across teams.
- Develop and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix or Requirements Catalogue, ensuring comprehensive requirement capture and traceability.
- Produce high-quality Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and create detailed process maps.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst.
- One of the following qualifications is required:
- BCS Business Analysis
- BCS Modelling Business Processes
- BCS Business Analysis Practice
- BCS Requirements Engineering
- IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA)
- IIBA Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
- IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- ITIL Foundation Certification preferred, but ITIL experience is essential.
- Proven experience using MoSCoW or INVEST frameworks for prioritisation and requirement gathering.
- A strong background in data projects or data analysis, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Experience in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
- Skilled in process mapping, with experience in BPMN necessary (a BPMN certification is a bonus).
- Experience working on large-scale transformation projects is a significant advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver results.
- Familiarity with business architecture concepts and a keen interest in gaining further exposure in this area.
