Senior HR Advisor

Location: Hybrid (Remote in December, 3 days in-office from January in Solihull office).

Contract Type: Short-term Assignment (3-month initial period)

About the Role:

This Financial Services organisation are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join the team on a short-term basis to provide critical support during a transitional period. This role will focus on managing a high-volume Employee Relations (ER) caseload with minimal supervision, making it ideal for someone who is confident, independent, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a heavy ER caseload, including disciplinary actions, grievance hearings, and flexible working requests.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on company policies, processes, and employment legislation.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to address and resolve HR issues effectively.
  • Support the team during an office relocation process, ensuring seamless HR operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor or Business Partner role, with strong expertise in Employee Relations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high professional standards.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Comfortable with a hybrid working model (remote in December and in-office 3 days/week from January).
