Our client is seeking a well-rounded Remedial / Water Hygiene Engineer, to cover Commercial and Industrial client sites in the Midlands. Ideally, applicants will be qualified with relevant tickets and training and able to demonstrate a varied and thorough skillset. Ideally, you will be commutable to: Solihull, Coventry, Rugby, Daventry, Northampton, Stratford-upon-Avon, Redditch, Worcester, Droitwich Spa, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Birmingham, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Tamworth, Cannock, Stafford, Rugeley, Lichfield, Telford, Burton upon Trent, Leicester, Nuneaton, Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Derby, Nottingham.
Experience / Qualifications:
- You must have experience undertaking Water Hygiene duties and remedial duties
- Will have a strong undertstanding of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 guidelines
- Must have undertaken TMV Servicing & Replacements
- Will have industry-related training / qualifications, such as: TMV Servicing, NVQ Plumbing, City & Guilds Cleans & Disinfections and / or G3 unvented ticket
- Good written and IT skills
The Role:
- You will be undertaking a range of PPM and reactive works
- Showerhead descales
- TMV servicing & replacements
- Tank refurbishments, cleans & disinfections
- Flushing of little-used outlets
- Pipework adjustments and repairs
- Replacement of valves
- Deadleg removals
- Water sampling & temperature monitoring
- Travelling as per company requirements
- Meeting clients on site and representing the company in a professional manner
