As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components for aerospace and oil and gas applications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T standards to ensure accurate production of parts.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials based on the unique requirements of each industry.
  • Program CNC machines using Fanuc or Mazak controlsto execute machining operations efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and overall quality.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspection of parts using precision measuring instruments to verify compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering environment, preferably with exposure to both aerospace and oil and gas industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of machining processes, materials, and quality standards relevant to aerospace and oil and gas applications.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T symbols.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC turning machines and related equipment, including knowledge of multi-axis machining.
  • Strong programming skills with the ability to write, edit, and optimize G-code programs for CNC machines.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific certifications and standards such as AS9100, NORSOK, API, or ISO 9001 is advantageous.
  • Relevant technical certification or vocational training in machining or related field.
