ML74- Design Manager.Salary: £58,000- £65,000.Location: Solihull.Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Design Manager on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply professional Design Management across projects.
- Show ambition and a willingness to work flexibly, both in our regional offices and on-site.
- Develop personal growth opportunities for the team.
- Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards and recommending system improvements.
- A good understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work and experience through pre- and post-contract stages.
- Defining design programmes, design deliverables and communications across multiple complex projects.
- Supporting the Lead Consultant in project administration and reporting.
- Leading design team meetings with internal and external consultants.
- Supporting Client technical approval processes and internal quality assurance.
- Leading the Design team to ensure projects are set up for success.
Skills and qualifications:
- Managing design teams and projects as Lead Consultant.
- Relevant design industry experience, with a background on large complex projects, such as Architecture or Engineering, ideally with chartered status.
- Be proficient in the use of digital tools to manage the design process such as MS Excel, MS Project, and document management platforms.
- Experience of defining BIM deliverables and design programming is advantageous.
Salary: £58,000- £65,000.Location: Solihull.
