A long-standing retail company are looking for an energetic, promising candidate to join their friendly finance team as a credit controller. We are thrilled to present a new opportunity for our client, who are highly successful, operate all across the UK and have a broad range of customers. This opportunity will be based in Solihull and the ideal candidate will need to be immediately available. Whilst some credit control will be very advantageous, it is not essential.

This role will entail a number of credit control responsibilities including debt chasing, handling queries, monitoring existing accounts and opening new customer accounts, alongside credit risk assessments.

What you'll need:

  • You will need to be able to take a proactive approach to managing multiple tasks in a timely and accurate manner
  • Confidence in you communication abilities is essential as you will be corresponding with a range of internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Strong teamwork skills will also be necessary as you will be collaborating closely with the team, which will include senior management
  • Intermediate IT skills, including some familiarity with Microsoft Excel
