Behaviour Mentor required to work on a 1-2-1 basis with a Male Key Stage 4 student with Social Emotional Mental Health Needs. This busy SEMH school is looking for a Behaviour Mentor / Pastoral Teaching Assistant to join an established team of teaching and support staff. This role requires a Behaviour Mentor who is able to provide 1-2-1 social and behavioural support for a male student who has struggled to engage with education. As a Behaviour Mentor you will be providing 1-2-1 support within small classes of Key Stage 4 students with additional needs. Your primary focus will be on supporting your student, managing behaviour and helping them to engage with lessons. This role is suitable for an experienced Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant or RSW who has previously worked with SEMH needs or challenging behaviours.Job Role:
  • Supporting challenging behaviours on a 1-2-1 basis.
  • Working as a Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant.
  • Acting as a positive role model for students.
  • Delivering 1-2-1 intervention sessions focused on communication and behaviours.
  • Helping students to reengage with education.
