About the company
Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client, known for manufacturing luxury hand-crafted motorcycles. They are looking for a Finance Analyst to join their expanding team, on a permanent basis. The role will be based in Solihull.
Job Description
As Finance Analyst, your main responsibilities include:
- Gathering data for investment spending, Engineering hours and third party spent, tooling and capital
- Identifying the financial status of businesses cases, by comparing achieved results with financial plans and goals
- Producing reports for monthly analysis, actuals v budget/forecasts on projects
- Analysing financial results and identifying trends, to help improve the financial status of a project
- Preparing reports on financial revenue and expenditures, communicating the insights of the reports to business management
Qualifications / Skills needed:
- Automotive industry experience
- Accounting qualification (AAT essential, ACA. CIMA, ACCA Desirable)
- Excel - (advanced user within finance and project work)
- Knowledge of R&D Engineering and understanding of the deliverable's gateways required to hit completion of projects
- Experience in project costing
