Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Junior Finance Officer to join our Global Christian Organisation based in the West Midlands.
The role requires a qualification in Maths and preferably some work experience in a finance role, although training will be provided.
Key responsibilities include assisting the Finance Manager, managing payment systems, and handling cash management and bank reconciliation.
The salary for this position ranges from £21,000 to £23,000, along with benefits such as pension, parking, and additional training.
Candidates should be passionate about finance, possess excellent communication skills, and be eager to learn and grow within the team.

You will be supporting our Finance manager and team assisting with all financial matters

Key responsibilities

Assisting the Finance Manager and Team
Managing Payment systems
Communication with providers
Cash management
Bank reconciliation
Purchase orders
Invoices
Journals
Queries

Qualifications / Skills

Qualification in Maths
Work experience in a Finance role advantageous
Basic knowledge of Finance and Accounting
Passionate with numbers and finance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent numerical skills
Team player
Eager to learn
Knowledge of financial platforms / NetSuite / advantageous but not necessary as training will be given
Be part of team prayer and other spiritual activities as required
