Cover Supervisor (Solihull Area)

At Team Educate we are working closely with a secondary school in the Solihull area, who are looking for cover supervisors to join their team and play a role in ensuring high quality learning continues in the absence of class teachers.

This is position is between 8.30- 15.30, Monday to Friday with an ideal start in March 2025. As a cover supervisor, you will be responsible formaintaininga good standard of behaviour in the classroom, and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in teaching or those with a passion for education.

Duties of a Cover Supervisor:

- Ensuring students stay on task during their lesson.

- Delivering pre- planned lessons set out other teachers.

- Providing additional support to students if needed.

- Managing the behaviour of students in line with the schools’ policies and procedures.

Experience required of a Cover Supervisor:

- Experience working with young people in an educational setting.

- Strong communication and classroom management skills.

- Ability to adapt and work flexibly across different subjects and year groups.

- A degree or equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential)

The Role:

- Position: Cover Supervisor (Secondary School)

- Duration: Full Time (Monday-Friday 8:30-15:30)

- Pay Rate: £100- £120 per Day

- Start date: March 2025
