Key Responsibilities of a Renewals Specialist:
- Monitoring and tracking the expiration dates of managed service contracts
- Proactively initiating discussions with clients regarding contract renewals
- Preparing and presenting contract renewal proposals to clients
- Negotiating contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements to secure renewals
- Identifying opportunities for upselling additional services or solutions to existing clients
Key Skills and Experience of a Renewals Specialist:
- Previous experience in contract renewal management, customer relationship management or a related role is preferred
- You should be proficient in CRM and contract management software
- KPI driven with a focus on revenue generation and customer retention
- Strong communication and negotiation skills is necessary
- The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
