Job Title: VAT Administrator

Location: Solihull
Salary: 27000 - 28000
Hours: 9am - 5:pm (with flexibility to work either 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm)

Term: 6-month Fixed Term Contract

Office Angels are excited to be working one with of our favourite clients located in the heart of Solihull, a successful tech company who have seen year after year growth, so much so they are expanding the team once again creating two exciting roles. You will be joining an exhilarating team providing VAT support that is second to none!

About the Role:

As a VAT Administrator, you will be an integral part of the small VAT team, responsible for handling various functions to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:

Gathering required information for driver registrations
Collaborating with the customer service team to obtain missing details
Processing applications to HMRC
Assisting in the preparation, review, and submission of driver VAT returns using our internal software package
Data Management
Maintaining up-to-date records across our CRM systems
Providing prompt and thorough responses to driver queries
Offering accurate calculations when needed

Qualifications and Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong numerical abilities
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with HMRC systems and processes
Good understanding of UK VAT
Previous experience within a SAAS business
