Assistant PMO Manager

Hybrid - once a week in the office

We are seeking an Assistant PMO Manager to coordinate capital projects delivery programmes, administer the PMO system, and ensure all programme reporting and processes meet the demands of the business. This role is crucial in managing and maintaining the system’s infrastructure, software applications, and future development to enhance the system and improve services. The Assistant PMO Manager will be the main support contact between the system provider and the organisation, managing day-to-day operations and working alongside the Property Data and Systems Manager.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Establish and manage key relationships with stakeholders across the business, influencing and encouraging collaboration.
  • Document and maintain the Programme Delivery Processes (PDM), system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and training.
  • Identify key areas of continuous improvement and implement changes to align with business requirements and improve effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Administer the PMO system to ensure all reporting and data analytics support Programme requirements.
  • Collate, analyse, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Create industry-leading insight dashboards for users across multiple levels of the business.
  • Manage and maintain the system’s infrastructure, software applications, and future development to enhance Property services.
  • Ensure security measures are in place to protect the system and comply with business policy.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and training requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a system administrator or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems management.
  • Knowledge or experience of working in a programme management environment.
  • Proficiency in process and database management and the ability to use data visualisation tools like Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
