Job Opportunity: Primary Teacher - Key Stage 2

Our South Birmingham based Catholic Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic year 6 Teacher to join their successful team immediately. This "good" Primary school offer a supportive and nurturing environment to staff and pupils.
You will have prior key stage 2 specifically year 6 teaching experience and be able to commit to a part time role from Feb to July 2025. Taking full responsibility for teaching the year 6 class
Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons tailored to the needs of Year 6 pupils
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of each child
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets
- Uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the school in all aspects of teaching and community life
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching in primary education, preferably within key stage 2
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment strategies
- Commitment to promoting the Catholic ethos and values of the school
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
