PAYROLL ASSISTANT

Salary - Up to £32K with Hybrid working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Assistant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company that operates globally, with a head office in EU. The Payroll Assistant will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The Payroll Assistant will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, managing expenses, and contributing to various projects aimed at improving payroll operations. This role offers a unique chance to work closely with the HR team, fostering collaboration and innovation in payroll practices.

Responsibilities Included

- Manage payroll processes for up to 2,500 employees, including new joiners and leavers.

- Handle manual calculations, FPS, and EPS submissions.

- Oversee expense claims, including mileage, entertainment, and travel costs.

- Collaborate with the HR team to address payroll queries and improve communication.

- Participate in projects aimed at reducing SLAs and enhancing payroll systems.

Skills and Attributes

- Strong experience in payroll processing and related systems.

- Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.

- Inquisitive mindset with a focus on process improvements.
